How to Get to Willow Glen

You can decide to get to the neighborhood by car, public transportation, or on foot.

If you are driving, remember the Highway 280 to the north, Foxworthy Avenue to the south, Highway 87 to the east, and Bascom Avenue, Southwest Expy, and Leigh Avenue to the west, form Willow Glen’s boundaries.

For public transportation options, note that the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) serves Willow Glen. And if you’re up for some exercise, Willow Glen is also a great neighborhood for walking or biking.

There are a couple of ways to get to Willow Glen on foot.

  1. You can travel north on the Guadalupe River Trail from downtown San Jose. Then, follow the trail past Willow Glen High School and under Highway 87. Once you cross Willow Street, you will be in Willow Glen.
  2. From downtown San Jose, you can take the Los Gatos Creek Trail; it will take you through Willow Glen and past Willow Glen High School. You can also access the trail from the Willow Glen/Lincoln Light Rail Station.
